Wind Hunter Kite Center

Wind Hunter Kite Center is a kitesurf school at Praia Seca, on the shore of the Araruama lagoon (Rio de Janeiro state). Its website describes it as certified and approved by the ABK (Associação Brasileira de Kitesurf), with instructors who have over 15 years of experience.

The flagship course is a 10-hour module spread over 3 days, one student per instructor, for all ages, with radios, vests and helmets. The water is shallow and wave-free with a sandy bottom, free of stones and shells, so booties are not needed. Equipment is Duotone and ION, and a shop sells items such as vests.
