Reckless Riders Wingfoil Centre

Reckless Riders is a wing foil centre in Ixia bay on the north-west coast of Rhodes, near Ialysos. It presents itself as the first dedicated wing foil station on the island. It was opened by Kyriakos, a local rider from a family that has worked in watersports for more than 40 years, who grew up at a windsurf centre in the same bay and publishes teaching videos on his YouTube channel.

The centre sits in a part of the bay where the water stays fairly calm, with steady thermal winds: light in the morning, stronger during the day. It offers wing foil lessons (introduction, 2, 4 or 6-hour group courses, private lessons, tow-in foiling), equipment rental for all levels and storage of personal gear with shade area, pumps, wifi and rescue service.

The fleet is equipped with Vayu boards and wings and Axis foils (600 to 2,500 cm2). The centre also organises downwinders, advanced clinics and after-session activities; partner accommodation is offered on the website.

Wind season from May to October; the windiest months are mid-June to mid-September according to the website.
