Windsurfers' World

Windsurfers' World is a windsurfing centre in Ixia bay, Rhodes, running for over 40 years according to its website. The station covers over 400 m² of beach at the start of Ixia, opposite the Olympic Palace Hotel, on a coast with steady cross-shore meltemi wind.

Beginners take a group course (maximum 3 students) or a private one, with theory on a beach simulator; intermediate and advanced courses are also offered. Independent riders can rent by the hour, day or week, changing equipment as they like with a valet rigging service; pooled rental (one set shared by two) costs 30% more.

The equipment is from JP and Neil Pryde, with Tabou boards and Gaastra sails, renewed every year. On-water rescue, hotel transfers, wifi and a beach cantina are part of the services. A kids and family club (Young Guns) is offered.

The high season runs from June to September according to the website.
