Tramontana Windsurfing Omiš

Tramontana Active Holiday is a Polish windsurfing school based on the sandy beach of Omiš, with a summer base run by Magdalena Kubielas-Ziemba (Żywiec, Poland). The water is very shallow, from 200 to 400 m offshore depending on the tide. The website describes a regular thermal pattern: bora in the morning, then a steady mistral parallel to the shore from 11 am, peaking between 1 and 4 pm.

Windsurfing lessons are taught in English, Croatian, German and Polish by licensed instructors, with one set of equipment assigned to each participant (no sharing). Formats: Mini (3 h), Midi (5 h) and Maxi (10 h) courses in groups of 3 to 6, Plus courses, individual lessons and a Young Windsurfers course for ages 6 to 12 (15 h). Rental covers learner and planing boards, sails from 0.8 to 8.4 m² (boards from 101 to 225 litres), harnesses and wetsuits, as well as paddleboards. The school also offers a SUP tour, airport transfers and apartments in Omiš.
