Surfcenter Davosersee is the board sports centre on Lake Davos, based at the public lido (Strandbad) in Davos Dorf and run by its owner, Beat Conrad, a Youth+Sport windsurfing expert. In summer, in fine weather, thermal winds build every day over this mountain lake, making it a reliable spot for beginners and intermediate riders; with foehn, bise or west wind it can blow 4 to 5 Beaufort. The lake is small and easy to keep an eye on, the water is shallow along the beach, life jackets are compulsory during lessons and two motorboats are on standby for rescues.
The centre teaches wing foiling in private lessons for one or two students: after an introduction on land, students start on a board without a foil, then move on to the foil; experienced windsurfers and kitesurfers go straight onto the water after a short briefing. It also runs windsurfing lessons in small groups of 4 to 8 people (taster, basic course, improvers' course with harness, beach start and gybing, windsurfing basic certificate exam) and stand up paddle lessons. It rents out wing foil, windsurf foil, windsurf, SUP and kayak equipment, and stores riders' boards and rigs by the day, by the week or for the season. Kitesurfing is not taught here; according to the Davos tourist office, it is allowed on the lake from a launch zone on the western shore, only from 5 pm in July and August and never during regattas.
The centre's shop sells accessories and orders new equipment from ION, Duotone, Starboard, NeilPryde, Indiana, Prolimit, Naish, Fanatic, Dakine and O'Neill, delivered to your home within Switzerland; school equipment is sold second-hand at the end of the season. The centre runs Youth+Sport windsurfing camps for 12- to 20-year-olds, a multi-sport camp for students and group events (school classes, companies, clubs), and benefits from the lido's facilities: restaurant, lawn, beach volleyball courts, changing rooms, lockers and hot showers.

Windsurfing equipment is only rented to people who have already taken at least a beginner course at a windsurfing school. Participants need their own accident insurance; equipment insurance can be taken out on site.
2026 season: 20 June to 19 September. From early July to mid-August, the centre is open every day in good weather; in June, from mid-August and in September it opens only part of the time, notably on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm in good weather.
All lessons must be booked in advance; private lesson times are set on request. 2026 camps: Youth+Sport camps from 13 to 17 July, 20 to 24 July, 3 to 7 August and 10 to 14 August; student camp from 17 to 21 August.
