Torre Loopa Kite School (Kitesurf Sizilien)

Torre Loopa Kite School, also known as Kitesurf Sizilien, is an official IKO school at Lo Stagnone (Marsala), at the entrance of the lagoon. Run since 2010 by a German-speaking team led by Adrienne, it claims more than 1,500 students taken to a kite licence and a Tripadvisor certificate of excellence.

The basic course takes a maximum of two people: shore safety, theory, equipment structure, kite relaunch, body drag, waterstart with the board and first upwind metres. The beginner course lasts 8 hours over 2 to 3 days; lessons are also offered in wing and windsurf. The equipment is recent Core gear, and kite rental is available.

The school emphasises safety first, an individual approach and a friendly atmosphere, with evenings and events; it also offers apartments close to the spot. It advertises that you do not pay when there is no wind. Practical tip from the site: there are isolated sea anemones in the lagoon, so a long wetsuit or leggings are recommended.
