Tramontana Voltri Surf ASD

Tramontana Voltri Surf is a sports association (ASD) based in Voltri, on the western side of Genoa, which has practised windsurfing since the 1980s and 1990s, when windsurfing in Italy was the preserve of a few pioneers, some of whom are long-standing members. The facilities were fully renovated in 2020-2021 and can be used all year round.

The club covers windsurfing, wind and wing foiling, kitesurfing and stand up paddle. It offers beginner windsurf courses (4 lessons), wingfoil courses (basic, intermediate and advanced, first on a displacement board then on foil) and SUP lessons (private, couple, group, a Voltri-Vesima tour, an AperiSUP). Equipment, including wetsuits, is provided, with changing rooms and hot showers.

The club works on a membership basis: a request by e-mail, a membership fee and a medical certificate are required. The website offers a webcam, a page on the spot and safety at sea, and specific rules for kitesurfing. It is also affiliated with the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV).
