CJ Surfboards, kitesurf craftsman in Varazze

CJ Surfboards is a handmade surfboard shaping workshop in Varazze, Liguria, with a showroom and laboratory on Via Parasio. The project began in 2016, when Jacopo, back from his first year in Australia, wanted to bring the art of shaping to Italy; he learned by travelling around Europe and working in different shaping rooms, first experimenting from his home garage. Since 2020 he has collaborated with Gaia on an identity mixing music, art, magazines and books.

The range includes several models (Double Trouble, Olivia, La Porta, Mini Twin, 4x4, Tappet-One, Dune Buggy, Stab, Operator, Super Dingo), in single fin, twin and thruster configurations, from about EUR 610. Boards can also be ordered custom: shape, dimensions, lamination (light, standard or strong), fin system, colours and artwork.

The workshop also runs a clothing and accessories shop (hoodies, t-shirts, boardshorts, hardware), a magazine and mixtapes.
