Surfing Park Kite Andora

Surfing Park Kite (SPK) is an IKO kitesurfing school based at the port of Andora, on the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente in the province of Savona. Its aim is to share kitesurfing in all its forms, from complete beginners to riders already comfortable in wind and waves.

The team consists of IKO instructors: one teaching since 2014, another since 2015, and a third who has been a kite instructor since 2022 and a wingfoil instructor since 2023. Courses cover introduction and first starts, kite wave, advanced freestyle and an introductory wingfoil course.

The Andora spot works well in a south-westerly wind and attracts wave riders; the beach, the breakwaters and the swell make it a spot mostly for experienced riders. Thanks to the school's rescue boat, lessons are still possible for students.

The school also offers equipment rental (Duotone, Ion and Fanatic gear, for lift customers only) and a lift and rescue service by boat from April to November, since the beach is closed to kiting during the bathing ordinance from 1 May to 30 September. Kite camps and trips are also organised.
