La Rabina - Circolo Tavola a Vela

La Rabina is a windsurf club (ASD Circolo Tavola a Vela) based on the beach of the same name in Oneglia, in the city of Imperia, on the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente. The non-profit association aims to develop water sports and windsurfing in particular.

The microclimate of the Riviera di Ponente allows sailing in all seasons; the east wind in the morning and west wind in the evening are often steady, while north-east, north-west, south-west and south-east winds create wave conditions. The club welcomes beginners of all ages as well as experienced windsurfers.

The 2026 windsurf school is open to beginners of all ages with complete equipment (board, sail, wetsuit, life jacket, rescue boat assistance), a theory session on a land simulator and then practice at sea. Club membership is required to use the equipment and take lessons. The website also offers a weather station, webcams and tutorials. A pedestrian and cycle promenade links Imperia to Diano Marina, and a playground is nearby.

Windsurf school: June, July, August and September, by reservation and weather permitting; membership covers insurance and use of equipment.
