Mundaka Barra Surf

Mundaka Barra Surf is a surf school in Mundaka (Bizkaia), a village in the Urdaibai reserve famous for its river-mouth left. It is run by Gaizka San Justo, a local surfer who took his first steps at age 7 before becoming a technical coach.

The school offers beginner lessons for children and adults (from age 18, no upper age limit), advanced courses and technification courses, with online booking and tailor-made sessions. Adult lessons include equipment (board and wetsuit), which is certified; for a first lesson, arrive 30 minutes early to change.

The school presents Mundaka's wave conditions as among the best in the Basque Country.
