Uretan Basque Surf Center

Uretan Basque Surf Center is a surf school in Bakio (Bizkaia) created by professional surfer Txaber Trojaola, one of the most representative sporting faces of the Basque Country. The centre offers surf lessons (beginner, improvement, advanced and competition surf), paddle surf and gear rental.

Its Bakio surf camp, for children aged 6 to 14, starts each day with a surf session followed by skate and surfskate, beach games, environmental workshops and excursions (San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, the Estepona river, Bakio rocks). Technical equipment is supplied and lessons can be given in Basque, English or Spanish; places are limited to keep quality high.
