Ericeira Waves is a surf school active since 2014 in the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve, near Ribeira d'Ilhas beach. It shows more than 350 Google reviews (4.9/5).
It offers group lessons (up to 5 students, 2 h), private lessons, kids' lessons (ages 8 to 15), coaching with video review and private groups. Instructors are certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and hold water-safety qualifications; teaching follows the federation's progression method.
Every session includes board, wetsuit, leash, instruction, insurance and a shower. Gear rental is also available.
