School Presentation
Ericeira Surf School, run by the company Despomar, Lda, offers surf lessons in Ericeira for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers, adults and children. Lessons are held in small groups of up to 6 people per certified instructor, with personalised feedback.
The team is led by two co-founders, Miguel Fortes and Michel Amaro, both recognised as surf instructors and coaches by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS); Michel Amaro is also a former international judge for the Association of Professional Surfers and holds a degree in physical education.
The offer includes group lessons, private lessons, kids' lessons, half-day surf tours with two lessons, a local guide experience for intermediate and advanced surfers, and youth training camps (Ericeira Training Camps). Board, wetsuit and insurance are included; photos and video are optional.
