Baleal Surf Ranch is a surf school in Ferrel, about ten metres from Baleal beach near Peniche. The project was started by João and António.
The school offers 1h45 group and private lessons, with insurance, wetsuit and board included, for beginners and intermediate surfers. It also rents boards and Billabong wetsuits by the half day or day.
A 4-suite house with a pool in Ferrel can be rented as a whole (no individual room bookings; minimum stay 4 nights in July-August, 3 nights the rest of the year).

Prices shown on the website (euros, per person): group lesson EUR 40, 3 lessons EUR 110, 5 lessons EUR 170, 10 lessons EUR 300; private lesson EUR 90 (1 person) or EUR 65 each (2-4 people). Board + wetsuit rental: half day EUR 30, 1 day EUR 40, 3 days EUR 90, 5 days EUR 135.
