School Presentation
Drop Surf Center is a surf school in Baleal (Ferrel), 4 km from Peniche. Its founder and head coach, Nelson Silva, has been surfing for over 20 years and teaching for over 15.
The school offers small-group lessons organised by level (usually two classes a day, morning and afternoon), private lessons, refresher courses, family packs and competition training. Children are welcome from about age 6-7. Safety and ocean awareness are part of the teaching.
Boards and wetsuits in all sizes are provided and can also be rented on their own. The centre also offers personal coaching, massage and yoga.
