Kite Premium is the kitesurfing school run by Xavier, an instructor holding the French BPJEPS diploma in kite sports, trained at the national sailing and water sports school (ENVSN). He has been kitesurfing since 2005 and has taught in mainland France, the French Caribbean, Florida and Sri Lanka. The school is affiliated with the FFVL and holds the French Kite School (EFK) label.
The school has no fixed premises and moves around Sète depending on the wind. Kite control is taught on the Trois Digues beach, between Sète and Marseillan, and riding takes place either at sea or on the Thau lagoon at Pont-Levis, where the water is shallow everywhere. During courses, students are moved by boat. The meeting point is given the day before. Lessons are taught in small groups, from beginner to advanced: introduction, lessons, 3- or 6-day courses, private lessons, freestyle, kitefoil, strapless surfkite, supervised riding with or without equipment, rental and boat-towed riding. Kite, board, harness, buoyancy vest, helmet, wetsuit and radio are provided.
The school also sells new equipment, through an online shop, and used gear. The brands it highlights are Eleveight, Ozone, Flysurfer, HB and Blankforce; Prolimit is listed among its partners.

The 3-day course amounts to 9 hours of tuition and the 6-day course to 18 hours, to be spread over the year. An FFVL licence (from €17) and a medical certificate are required. Payment by bank transfer.
Open all year round, every day, weather permitting.
Sessions are scheduled at the best time of day for the wind: students should stay available for the day and arrive 15 minutes before the set time.
