Elite Surf Academy

Elite Surf Academy is a surf school on Sardinia's north coast, founded by brothers Daniele and Andrea Virdis, who say they were the first surfers and lifeguards of the Ampurias bay at Lu Bagnu (Castelsardo) from 2005. The association (an ASD registered in the CONI national register) is headquartered in Castelsardo.

The home spot is Ampurias beach, a beach break that works in many conditions and has waves for all levels; the school also moves to other beaches to the north and west (La Pelosa in Stintino, Santa Teresa, the beaches of Alghero), with the lesson spot sent by text message 36 hours ahead.

It offers surf lessons for beginners, intermediates and coaching, from children to adults, with equipment included (wetsuit, board, leash), a photo and video service, equipment rental and SUP trips. A surf camp is offered at the Blu Sardegna Surf House in Castelsardo (rooms and apartments with sea views).
