Nesos Surf School - Marinedda Bay

Nesos Surf School is the surf school of La Marinedda beach, near Isola Rossa (municipality of Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola), in northern Sardinia. Nesos has run beach services since 1997 (two areas with sunbeds and umbrellas) and rents canoes, pedal boats, wave surfboards and SUPs, with boat trips. The school has been affiliated since 2006 with the Italian surfing federation (FISSW) and AICS, a body recognised by CONI.

Lessons, private or in groups, last one to two hours depending on the groups and sea conditions, using soft boards suited to first waves. Two levels are taught: beginner (goal: catching your first wave, with water safety, wave reading and getting past the break) and a following level; the school advertises a minimum of 15 waves per lesson. Instructors hold the lifeguard certificate of the Italian Swimming Federation and lessons are insured. If conditions require, lessons move to other beaches between Badesi and Rena Majore.

The Marineddabay ASD association also organises contests in the bay: the Italian shortboard championship was held there on 9 and 10 October 2026, according to the website, and the site offers a surf camp and a shop.
