KiteandBike Sardegna

KiteandBike is a German-speaking, VDWS-certified kitesurf school in Valledoria, on the Coghinas river lagoon in north-west Sardinia. The lagoon, separated from the sea by a sandbank, offers flat, shallow water that is warm from April, ideal for beginners; the school states it is the only one holding an official teaching licence for this lagoon.

Basic courses are one-to-one, with theory, kite on land and then water, with a rescue boat in the lagoon; radio coaching is offered to more advanced riders. All instructors hold VDWS qualifications. The school also offers wing, childcare, a neighbouring café by the lagoon, KTM enduro motorbike and e-mountain-bike rental, guided hinterland tours and apartments, as an active family holiday package.

The season is stated as 2 April to 10 November, with a "wind guarantee": customers pay only for what was actually done.
