School Presentation

Kite Village Sardegna (KVS) is an amateur sports club founded in 2012 at Punta Trettu, facing the island of Sant'Antioco, in the municipality of San Giovanni Suergiu. It presents itself as the pioneer of kitesurfing at this spot, which locals call "Punta dritta". The school has been led since the start by Pietro Iovinella; it is an IKO-affiliated club and a FIV centre.

The Punta Trettu lagoon offers flat, shallow, rock-free water and steady wind, suited to beginners as well as freestyle. The school stands right in front of the spot.

Courses cover kitesurfing (beginner, intermediate, advanced, kids), hydrofoil and wing foil, as private, duo or small-group lessons. The beginner course is 6 hours spread over 3 to 4 days, with a radio helmet; instructors are IKO and FIV certified and multilingual. A beach manager and a rescue boat are on site.

The centre rents kitesurf, hydrofoil and wing foil gear (North, Duotone, Flysurfer, Mystic, Fanatic brands), by reservation only and for club members or holders of a UISP, FIV or OPES card. It also has a shop, gear storage and washing area, shaded zones, Wi-Fi, an outdoor gym, a bar-restaurant and accommodation. The club also hosts the Big Air, a round of the Italian kitesurfing championship, at Punta Trettu in 2026.
