Le Spot Serre-Ponçon – Wingfoil & Windsurf School

Le Spot is a wingfoil and windsurf school based on Chanterenne beach in Crots, on the shore of Lake Serre-Ponçon (Hautes-Alpes). It presents itself as a wing and foil specialist and mentions free parking close to the beach.

The offer covers wingfoil (from first steps with the wing on a stable, high-volume board to first flights on a foil), windsurf (beginner lessons, harness, footstraps, planing), windfoil for windsurfers who are already comfortable, and dockstart sessions to practise pumping from a suitable pontoon a few metres from the base. Lessons are mostly private, for one or two people, with boat assistance; group lessons can be arranged on request.

Equipment is supplied to match level and wind conditions, with comfort and safety gear (wetsuit, buoyancy vest, helmet, harness). The school says it uses new equipment in partnership with AFS and Sooruz, and also rents out all its gear without booking.

The website announces a 2026 novelty: multi-day trips combining gliding sports and adventure. Lessons are taught by a qualified instructor.

Every day from 10 am to 6 pm during the season. The 2026 season is over; reopening in spring.
