Club de Voile Soustons Marensin

The Club de Voile de Soustons Marensin (CVSM) is based at the Laurens base on Lake Soustons (380 ha), exposed to north and north-west winds. Its website shows a 2026 copyright: opening to the public on 7 March 2026, training resuming on 11 March.

The club offers wingfoil courses (from age 13), catamaran (10), Optimist (7) and a beginners' programme for the youngest, plus private lessons, slow tourism, a sports school, free sailing and regattas. It rents catamarans, dinghies, windsurf boards, stand-up paddles and canoes. An adaptive sailing section offers discovery and initiation on adapted boats.

Instruction is provided by a base manager, a deputy and an instructor, all RTQ-qualified, with a reception officer. The club is affiliated with the FFVoile (French Sailing School), the Landes departmental committee and the Tourisme & Handicap label. It welcomes visitors from early March to late November; opening hours and prices are published as PDFs on the website.
