DaveDoctorDing is a surfboard repair workshop based in Azur, in the Landes. Dave has been repairing boards for more than 25 years: he started by looking after his own boards as a student in Bordeaux, then spent several winters in California learning shaping, glassing and sanding with Rich Wisz (Wisz Surfboards) and Greg Mungall.

The workshop handles all board types, polyester and epoxy: small and large dings, fixed fins, leash plugs, FCS / Futures boxes, bent or broken boards, as well as colour matching. According to the website, 95% of repairs are done within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the condition of the board and the required drying time.

A loan board is lent free of charge during the repair, subject to stock and available shapes. Pick-up and delivery are offered within a 15 to 20 km radius, with a specific offer for professionals.

The area covered runs from Guéthary, Biarritz and Anglet to Mimizan, including Capbreton, Hossegor, Seignosse, Soustons, Vieux-Boucau, Messanges, Moliets, Saint-Girons, Lit-et-Mixe and Contis. The workshop says it works 7 days a week; complex repairs should be discussed with Dave beforehand.
