AMaRO - Associação Marítima e Recreativa de Oeiras

AMaRO is a non-profit association in Oeiras based at Santo Amaro beach (Forte São João das Maias). It promotes water activities (sailing, canoeing, rowing, SUP) by sharing boats and knowledge among its members.

The offer includes sailing on catamaran, Vaurien, Mirror Dinghy, 470 and 420, Hawaiian canoe activities, stand up paddle freely available to members all year, and kayaking. Qualified trainers support learning, and the association helps organise boat trips, regattas and events at its nautical centre.
