Sadhana Surfboards, kitesurf craftsman in Christchurch

Sadhana Surfboards is a surfboard workshop in Woolston, in eastern Christchurch. It hand-crafts artisan boards to order: logs, mid-lengths and fish, with listed prices from about NZD 1,295 to 2,175. Custom orders are placed online, and the workshop also offers stock boards, secondhand boards and demo or hire boards.

The workshop also repairs boards and runs learn-to-shape classes. It supplies home builders under the NZ Board Builder Supplies name (blanks, resin, fin plugs, shaping tools, fibreglass), as well as fins, wax, leashes, board bags and clothing.

The website says the business now runs in a leaner, shaping-first format.

Board drop-off and pick-up at the workshop on Thursday 2 pm to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 1 pm, until further notice. Online orders at any time.
