Iverson Trail / Camano Island kitesurf spot
United States · Washington
Overview
Iverson Trail Preserve is a kitesurfing spot at the north end of Camano Island, on Livingston Bay in the northern Puget Sound, Washington State. The beach faces east and is mainly used in winter with south to southeast winds during pre or post-frontal conditions. The spot suits all levels thanks to cross to cross-onshore wind. Watch for tides: in winter, high tide can reach 4 meters, flooding the beach and re-floating logs. The beach becomes usable again about 2 hours after high tide.
