Overview

Miami Beach 76th Street is a kitesurfing spot located in North Miami Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean. This section of the beach is one of the authorized kite access points along the long strip of Miami Beach sand. The beach faces east, perfectly capturing the trade winds as direct onshore. It's a wave and chop spot offering dynamic conditions for intermediate riders. In southeast or northeast winds, the swell can be more pronounced. The riding area is parallel to the beach — watch for marked swimming zones.

Kiting is only allowed in certain areas of Miami Beach — check local regulations before riding. The beach is busy with swimmers — maintain safety distances. Longshore drift currents possible. In westerly winds, conditions are offshore — do not ride. Lifeguards may prohibit riding in dangerous conditions.
