Overview
Camburi is the main urban wind-sports spot in Vitória, capital of Espírito Santo, and a good reference for practising and learning wing foil and hydrofoil. The east-facing beach is very long; the area between the two piers is the best place to start, with little swell and safe entry and exit with the gear.
The spot works very well in northeasterly wind, the prevailing wind of the region, and also picks up southerly fronts. The wide strip of sand leaves room to handle the wing and rig the foil on the beach.
