Multiple beaches (Kelenn, Penquer, Cosmeur, Grève Blanche, Clouët) provide shelter from any wind direction.

Presqu'île with multiple beaches allowing navigation in almost any wind direction. Kelenn beach: favourable N to SW arc. Sheltered bays provide flat water by offshore winds. Wing and windfoil predominant thanks to the sheltered, consistent conditions. NE thermal breeze in spring and summer. Good conditions June–September.
Baie de Morlaix: rocky coastline, varied tidal range, complex currents near Île Callot and the islands. Multiple beaches at Carantec (peninsula) — wind direction and tide determine which beach is best. Strong tidal range: some beaches dry out almost completely at low tide. Château du Taureau navigation channel — respect maritime traffic. Never ride alone.
