Snowkite

Kenosee Lake is a snowkite spot in Moose Mountain Provincial Park, in southeastern Saskatchewan at 742 m altitude. In winter, the frozen lake and surrounding snowy fields become an ideal playground for snowkiting. The Moose Mountain hills offer varied terrain — from the flat lake to gentle hill slopes. West and northwest winds dominate, regular and sustained. Winter temperatures can drop to -30°C — extreme cold gear essential.
