Puerto Galera is a popular beach destination in MIMAROPA on the northern coast of Mindoro Island. The sheltered bays offer calm waters for kitesurfing. NE Amihan winds (Nov-May) deliver cross-shore conditions. The area is known for diving and water sports, with good tourist infrastructure and easy access from Manila by ferry.
