Overview

Balephuil Bay is a magnificent white sand beach on the southwest coast of Tiree, fully west-facing towards the Atlantic. This spot offers the best wave conditions on the island, with constant swell and reliable wind. The bay is surrounded by dunes and machair (coastal grassland typical of the Hebrides). Spot renowned for wave riding in kite.
