Overview

Baja Trinidad, located on La Maddalena island in the eponymous archipelago, is an exceptional kitesurf spot offering stunning views of the surrounding islands. The site features shallow turquoise waters ideal for kiting. The dominant winds are the Mistral (northwest) and Levante (southeast), often strong and consistent in summer. The La Maddalena archipelago is a marine national park, ensuring remarkably clean water. The spot is accessible via ferry from Palau.

Parking

Parking available near Baja Trinidad beach. Accessible by car from La Maddalena village. Ferry from Palau (~15 min crossing). In high season, parking can fill up quickly — arriving early is recommended.

Hazards

Watch out for protected swimming zones and numerous tourist boats in summer. Shallow rocks in some areas require vigilance. The national park enforces navigation restrictions in certain zones — check authorized limits before riding. Thermal winds can be irregular early morning and late afternoon.
