<![CDATA[East Inlet is a kitesurfing spot located on the northwest coast of Tasmania, near Stanley. It is a sheltered cove offering interesting flat water conditions for kitesurfing, protected from Bass Strait swell. The prevailing wind comes from the west to northwest in summer. The inlet offers relatively flat and shallow water, sheltered from swell. Conditions are calmer than on the neighboring exposed beaches. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates thanks to the inlet's protection. The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is required. Watch out for currents in the inlet during tidal changes.]]>
