<![CDATA[Shallow Inlet is a renowned kitesurfing spot located in South Gippsland in Victoria, adjacent to Sandy Point. This shallow inlet is considered one of Victoria's best flat water spots, offering exceptional conditions for freestyle and learning. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. The inlet offers perfect shallow flat water conditions, with waist-deep water in many areas. The bottom is sandy and firm. Conditions change with the tides: at low tide, vast sandbars are exposed. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners thanks to ideal shallow flat water conditions. The water is cold, a wetsuit is required. It is a popular spot for kite schools. Watch out for currents in the main channel. Sandy Point offers camping and basic amenities.]]>
