<![CDATA[Sandy Point is a kitesurfing spot located in South Gippsland in Victoria, on the eastern shore of Shallow Inlet. It is a popular spot offering sheltered flat water conditions in the inlet as well as access to the ocean beach. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer. The inlet offers shallow flat water conditions ideal for freestyle. On the ocean side, waves are present. The bottom is sandy. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners (inlet side) and intermediates (ocean side). The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is required. Sandy Point is a holiday village with a campground and basic amenities.]]>
