<![CDATA[Brighton Kitebeach is a dedicated kitesurfing spot located in Brighton in suburban Melbourne on Port Phillip Bay. It is one of Melbourne's most popular kitesurfing spots, with a clearly designated kite zone separated from swimming areas. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west in summer (thermal sea breeze). The bay offers flat water to small chop conditions perfect for freestyle and learning. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom. The spot gets very busy on windy days. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates. The water is cold, a wetsuit is required. Parking, showers, and amenities nearby. It is a social spot with a very active kite community.]]>
