<![CDATA[Middleton is a renowned kitesurfing spot located on the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, between Goolwa and Victor Harbor. It is one of the best-known surfing and kitesurfing spots in the region, valued for its consistent waves and reliable winds. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest in summer (thermal sea breeze), blowing cross-onshore on this beach exposed to the Southern Ocean. Waves are regular and of good quality, averaging 1 to 2 meters. The bottom is sandy with some reef sections. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders due to waves and currents. Middleton is a quiet coastal village with beachside parking, showers, and a few shops.
