Miscou Island is separated from Lamèque Island by the Miscou Channel, together forming an exceptional archipelago for wind sports. The spot offers access to a coastal body of water with wind conditions mainly from the northwest. Camping Gionet provides a convenient launch point. Tides influence depth and currents. The water is temperate in summer. The sailing season runs from June to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate riders. The island offers a preserved natural setting and a peaceful atmosphere typical of Acadia.
