Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park is on a peninsula on the north shore of Lac la Biche. This provincial park offers a magnificent natural setting with boreal forest and direct lake access.
The peninsula allows sailing with multiple wind orientations. The park offers camping, trails, and facilities. Southeast and northwest winds are most productive on this large 234 km² lake. Season from June to September.
Fresh water. Temperature of 18-22°C in summer. Variable bottom. The peninsula offers partial protection. Good fetch with SE and NW winds. Progressive depth. Well-maintained provincial park setting.
