Kekokipa is a launch spot on the north shore of Keho Lake. The name "Kekokipa" comes from the local kitesurfing community. This spot offers access to the northern part of the lake, with views over the southern Alberta prairies.
The north shore is exposed to southwest Chinook winds as side-shore, creating excellent sailing conditions. The fetch from the south shore is sufficient to form chop. Keho Lake is the heart of the Alberta kite scene. Season from May to October.
