Overview
El Cotillo is a spot on the north-west of Fuerteventura (Canary Islands), with several sub-spots. On the open beach, Kitejungle reports north wind and all levels, with waves and shorebreak in a northerly, and a car park on the cliffs; another guide rates it rather advanced. The "Cotillo Lagos" lagoon offers flat water in a north-easterly or northerly, from high tide to mid-tide, but its volcanic rocks are described as risky and unsuitable for beginners.
