St Martin's Flats (Isles of Scilly): the official tourism site calls it the "most consistently best spot", for south-east to west winds; with an east wind, Pentle Bay (Tresco) at low tide. For competent riders who can launch, land and pack up alone. No school or shop on the islands: bring spares.
