Parking

Parking in Arillas village. Spaces along the road to the beach and a main car park. Paved access. In high season, arrive early to find a spot.

Wind specificities

Exposed to the Maestro (NW/WNW/W), the dominant summer wind. Wind arrives onshore to side-onshore. Arillas is slightly more sheltered than Agios Stefanos to the north, with wind often 2-3 knots weaker. The Maestro picks up late morning and peaks in the afternoon (15-20 knots). In NNW/N wind, the wind is more side-shore. Local thermal breezes in the afternoon.

Hazards

Shore break in NW swell. Rocks at the bay's extremities — stay in the central sandy area. Many swimmers in summer, especially near the beach. Tourist boats. No specialized rescue.
