Aadale is a spot in Ho Bugt (Ho Bay) near Esbjerg in the Wadden Sea. Huge flat water area at waist depth with stable wind and no obstacles — perfect for learning. Strongly tide-dependent: ride at incoming or high tide, nearly unrideable at low tide. Changing sand reefs, chop further out, 1-2 m waves at outer edges.

Flat waist-deep water with stable wind — lake-like conditions in moderate winds. Sand reefs creating inland flat water zones. Chop further out. 1-2 m waves at the bay's outer edges. Wetsuit always required. TIDE: strongly dependent — check tide times before every session.
Hazards
TIDE: water level changes drastically — risk of stranding or being caught by incoming tide. Tidal currents in the Wadden Sea. Shells on bottom and beach — booties recommended. Boat traffic. RESTRICTION: kitesurfing only allowed March 1 to September 30 along Hjerting and Sædding beaches. Wadden Sea National Park regulations apply.
