North Sea waves, ocean conditions. Sandy bottom. Regular swell from west and northwest. Waves can be powerful in storms. Shore break possible. Excellent wave riding conditions.

Hazards

Powerful waves and dangerous shore break. Rip currents along the coast. DANGER: Bulbjerg cliff (3.5 km south) creates the Skarreklit — remains of a 16 m rock needle collapsed into the water directly in front of the cliff. Submerged rocks at the cliff base. "River-like" currents in strong NW wind. Venturi wind acceleration effect at Bulbjerg. Violent shore break above 25 knots. Stones on the lower beach, shoes recommended. Offshore wind (east) very dangerous. Isolated spot, rescue services far away.
