Overview

Diani Beach is Kenya's most renowned kitesurfing spot, located on the south coast in Kwale County. This stunning white sand beach faces east onto the Indian Ocean. The coral reef creates a vast flat water lagoon, offering ideal conditions for kitesurfing. The southeast trade winds are consistent during the Kusi season (June to October). Diani hosts numerous kitesurfing schools and centres, making it a destination accessible to both beginners and experienced riders. The tide significantly changes sailing conditions.
