Birds Beach is a remote spot located in Kaipara Harbour, northwest of Auckland. This beach offers a calm estuarine body of water within the largest natural harbour in the Southern Hemisphere. W, NW and SW winds are dominant. The spot is suitable for advanced riders due to its isolation. Kaipara Harbour is known for its powerful tidal currents. Access is via rural roads.
