The Ameland Lagoon is a spot located on the north coast of Ameland island. This lagoon between the beach and dunes offers flat water conditions protected from North Sea waves. The spot is suited to intermediate riders thanks to its calm and shallow waters, while still being subject to tides. Northwesterly to northerly winds are most favorable.
